Dr. Cliff Singer graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 1980, and went on to graduate from their Orthodontic Specialist Program in 1985. He holds memberships in the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
As highly-trained professionals qualified to perform treatments such as root planning, scaling and dental cleaning, dental hygienists and assistants are an important part of any dental practice. They work alongside dentists in order to provide the best dental care possible, and contribute to oral examinations and dental diagnoses. They also teach and encourage in patients behaviors and habits that foster good oral health care.
Our office staff is friendly, courteous and always ready to extend a warm welcome to old and new patients. They ensure that patients will feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay, in addition to arranging and scheduling your appointments and follow-up visits at times that are most convenient to you.
Lenore has lived her entire life in Grey and Bruce County. She has working in the dental field for the past 33 years first graduating as a Dental Assistant before returning to Fanshawe College to embrace the Dental Hygiene program. She returned back home to marry her husband 30 years ago and raise their 3 grown children. Lenore is a proud Grandma of 2 beautiful grandchildren. Lenore has worked at Saugeen Dental for the past 15 years. When she is not behind the dental chair, you might find her behind the wheel of a tractor, helping her husband on their farm. She passes our long winters curling and loves to hit the gardens in the spring.
This busy mother of 2, has worked in the dental field for the past 32 years after graduating for St. Clair College. Saugeen Dental was lucky to adopt her 25 years ago when her and her husband put down roots in Hanover. Their children have also been very active in local sports and mom is one of their biggest supporters, cheering them on and encouraging the best for them. When Kari-Lynn finds some spare time she enjoys capturing their most treasured family memories while scapbooking.
Jessica is one of the newest members of our team at Saugeen Dental, stepping in where ever she is needed. Jessica graduated from Fanshawe College first as a Dental Assistant and then received her Dental Hygienist Diploma. Jessica worked as a Dental Assistant while attending school and enjoys all aspects of the dental office. When she is not working you might find her in the summer on the river in her kayak and in the winter on a ski slope snowboarding. She is a well travelled young lady and has been to at least 13 countries. Jessica loves to learn and is currently enrolled in an online program to complete her BHSC. Jessica and her family have always lived in the Hanover area and she was excited to return to her roots.
Kristina graduated first as a Dental Assistant from Georgian College in 2005 and then had the desire to further her dental knowledge and became a Dental Hygienist in 2008. Kristina moved to our area from southern Ontario and has embraced the small town life and has worked as Saugeen Dental for the past 4 years. She loves all aspects of country music and enjoys travelling to Nashville. When she is not enrolled in boot camp, you will find her enjoying down time scrapbooking all her favourite memories with her niece, friends and family.
Dana is the newest member of our dental team, this Dundas native is ready to serve our patients both as a dental hygienist and assistant. She graduated in 2006 from Toronto College of Dental Hygienists. This busy mom of 2 and her husband Chris decided to follow his fulltime farming dream, which landed then on their own piece of heaven in Neustadt. Dana’s passion for flower arranging start her country career in Walkerton, before starting with Saugeen Dental in 2015.
Angie was born and raised on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. Angie attended Fanshawe College graduating in 1995 as a Dental Assistant. Angie never thought her love of dentistry would bring her back to her home town of Wiarton. She and her husband have been married for 12 years and she is the step mother to Murray’s 3 grown children. Angie and Murray both enjoy travelling, but Angie has taken her travel to the next level by joining the Sioux Lookout Dental Zone Program. This program helps her fly into remote areas in northern Ontario where she helps complete dental treatment on Native patients. To date she has travelled to 6 communities over 3 years and her next adventure is on the near horizon. Angie was a Dental Assistant for 20 years, working a long side Dr. Loucks (her second dad) for most of it. She has now embraced a new side of the dental office, managing two offices. Wiarton Dental first and was honoured to expand her duties to a very busy office in Hanover called Saugeen Dental. Angie feels that she is so lucky to be a part of two amazing offices and appreciates her two teams every day for their hard work and dedication.
Melissa attended college in her home town of Thunder Bay at Confederation College graduating in 2001. Melissa and her husband of 7 years decided to embrace the small town life and call Hanover home. They are raising 2 active boys and are very involved in local sports. When she is not working or in an arena she enjoys gardening, camping and travelling. Melissa chose our dental family to work at over 2 years ago. A quote Melissa would like to share which she believes say it all, “A good life is when you smile often, dream big, laugh lots and realize how blessed you are for what you have.”
Brittany came to our office right out of Georgian College in Orillia, 8 years ago. She was excited to be able to come back home to work with Dr. Stewart (Schlueter) who was also a new graduate. Brittany is a newlywed and got the travel bug from their honeymoon to Alaska (cruise) and Western Canada. In her down time she helps out her family at local events with their Kettle Corn Business. On a beautiful sunny fall day you might find Brittany, her husband Brandon and their beloved dog Maggie, enjoying a stroll through the apple orchard.
There is only one way to describe this very energetic baseball fan “GO BLUE JAYS GO”, when Lisa’s baseball career was going nowhere, she decided to attend College and become a Dental Assistant. Lisa worked in the city for many years, but family was calling her back to her roots here in Hanover. Saugeen Dental was lucky to have her become part of their team as a Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator almost 2 years ago. Lisa is a busy mom of 2 boys with special abilities, which Lisa goes above and beyond for their best care and needs. Lisa watched every Blue Jay’s game, and even travelled to Florida to watch a few games in 2014.
Chris is a graduate of Centennial College with a Diploma in Correctional Work. Chris has worked as Saugeen Dental for the past 17 years in various roles, currently she is a part of our great front desk team. Chris and her husband of 26 years live and raised their two grown daughters in the area they both grew up. Chris enjoys the outdoors both on the golf course and paddling her kayak down the beautiful Saugeen River. When Chris is not working you might find her sitting on her deck enjoying the breath taking views with a little Jimmy Buffet playing in the background.
Elyse is a graduate of Brock University, exceeding in the Psychology field. She was introduced to the dental field in 2010 and came to work at Saugeen Dental 3 years ago. Elyse embraces the country life enjoying horseback riding, antiquing and is a Bernese Mountain dog breeder in her spare time. When she’s not working at Saugeen Dental or on the farm, she loves yoga and fitness and spending quality time with family and friends at their cottage. She and her fiancé are busy planning their upcoming wedding on their farm in 2016. She is really hoping to travel more starting with their honeymoon.
